How does a digital microscope become clear?

2022-05-16

At present, high-quality digital microscopes combine the functions of ordinary optical microscopes and digital cameras, so that images within the microscope's field of view appear on the display in a clearer way. As a precise optical instrument, people should strictly follow the operating specifications in the process of use, in order to give full play to the functions of the digital microscope, which will be introduced below.

1. Pay attention to cleaning.
Digital microscopes are optical precision instruments and should be used with special care. Before use, you should be familiar with the structure and function of the video microscope, check whether the general parts are in good condition, whether the mirror body is dusty, whether the lens is clean, and perform necessary cleaning and adjustment operations. Before use, the lens body should be scrubbed again, and the lens should be wiped clean with a wipe (don't wipe it with your fingers). If there is dry asphalt on the stage or lens, wipe it off with a small amount of xylene with a wipe.
2. Correctly adjust the light source.
Direct light sources should be avoided when aiming the light of a digital microscope, as direct light sources can affect the clarity of objects and damage the light source equipment and lens. One can adjust the light by widening or narrowing the aperture of the digital microscope, raising the condenser, and rotating the mirror. The general principle is: when observing stained specimens, the light should be strong; when observing unstained specimens, the light should not be too strong. Light should be weak at low magnification, while light intensity should be strong at high magnification.

3. Follow the correct procedure.

When using a digital microscope, certain procedures need to be followed. The specimen to be observed must be observed with low magnification. Due to the large field of view of the low-power mirror, it is easy to find the target and determine the viewing direction. At the same time, people should first slowly turn the coarse adjustment wheel, when an object appears on the horizon, switch to the fine adjustment wheel, and gently roll up and down until a clear object is obtained on the horizon. Carefully adjust, determine, and move the parts that need further investigation to the center of the horizon, and then investigate with high magnification.
